Position Overview
Our Transaction Services team serves middle-market private equity firms, founder-owned businesses, and investment professionals during any stage of the transaction process.
CFOx is seeking a Senior Associate to join its growing team. This on-site position will be located in our Boston, MA office and support the firm’s Transaction Services practices.
As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with the Vice Presidents to deliver strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and support growth initiatives for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of private equity environments, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.

Typical Transaction Services engagements include:
- Buy-Side & Sell-Side ‘Quality of Earnings’ Analysis
- Client liaison to due diligence provider and advisors during transaction process
- General due diligence on target acquisitions
- Financial diligence and modeling
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in Transaction Services client engagements
- Prepare client deliverables, analyses, and reports
- Participate in the firm’s business development efforts
- Active participation in the firm’s culture and operations
- Train and Develop Associates
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of transaction (TS or TAS) experience
- CPA license is preferred
- Previous audit experience is preferred
Pay Range
- Base Compensation: $90,000/year to $140,000/year
- Bonus: Discretionary
- Sales Commission Eligible
