CFOx is an advisory firm that specializes in CFO, Transaction, and Accounting Services in the middle-market. We have offices in Denver, Detroit, and Boston. We work with private equity firms and their portfolio companies, founder-owned businesses, investment banks, and investors nationwide. 

Position Overview

Our Transaction Services team serves middle-market private equity firms, founder-owned businesses, and investment professionals during any stage of the transaction process.  

CFOx is looking for a Vice President to work closely with clients to provide strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and support growth initiatives. This role requires a thorough understanding of private equity environments, strong financial acumen, a drive for excellence, and established leadership ability in a fast-paced and growing environment. 

In addition to client execution, the Vice President will support the Directors in leading, shaping, and guiding our Transaction Services group. This pivotal role involves a broad range of responsibilities aimed at driving the group’s success and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients. 

Typical Transaction Services engagements include:

  • Buy-Side & Sell-Side ‘Quality of Earnings’ Analysis
  • Client liaison to due diligence provider and advisors during transaction process
  • General due diligence on target acquisitions
  • Financial diligence and modeling

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead select Transaction Services client engagements 
  • Support and execute Transaction Services client engagements
  • Prepare client deliverables, analyses, and reports
  • Improve and implement internal processes, procedures, and templates for the practice
  • Active involvement in the firm’s business development efforts
  • Active involvement in company operations and strategy
  • Trains & develops Associates and Senior Associates

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of transaction services (TS or TAS) experience
  • Previous audit experience is preferred
  • CPA license is required 

Pay Range

  • Base Compensation: $130,000/year to $180,000/year
  • Bonus: Discretionary 
  • Sales Commission Eligible
