CFOx recently completed a multi-phase engagement for a long-standing client, a founder-owned healthcare software company. The CFO Services team implemented new accounting systems and processes, cleaned up the company’s financials, and developed robust financial reporting for the company.

CFOx began by migrating the company to a cloud-based accounting software and implementing a new Chart of Accounts. The team then focused its attention on cleaning up the balance sheet. The company received outside capital from investors and lenders over the years, so the team implemented changes to properly reflect these activities on the Balance Sheet. The CFO Services team was then able to pinpoint accounting process improvements and establish a month-end close process. This resulted in clean and timely monthly financials.

CFOx continued with monthly fractional CFO support by reviewing transactions, reconciliations, and trends. CFOx also designed and prepared a monthly financial reporting package which gave the client in-depth visibility into its cash flow and overall performance.
