CFOx is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Foley as Vice President of Business Development, reinforcing the firm’s focus on serving private equity firms and growth-oriented companies with disciplined financial leadership and execution.
Tyler brings more than a decade of experience partnering with founders, management teams, and investment sponsors to drive scalable growth, operational rigor, and value creation. His background includes extensive work with sponsor-backed businesses, where he has supported leadership teams in aligning strategic initiatives with financial and operational priorities throughout periods of growth and transition.
Prior to joining CFOx, Tyler held senior business development and commercial leadership roles across high-growth companies in clean energy, SaaS, and consumer technology. In these roles, he led go-to-market strategy development, scaled commercial organizations, and worked closely with executive leadership on complex negotiations and multi-stakeholder decision-making. His experience building repeatable, execution-oriented processes is directly applicable to the demands of private equity–backed environments.
At CFOx, Tyler partners closely with private equity sponsors and management teams to position the firm as a trusted advisor across the full deal lifecycle, from pre-close diligence support to post-close execution and value creation initiatives. He is recognized for his pragmatic approach, strong relationship management, and ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable outcomes, consistent with CFOx’s hands-on advisory model.
Tyler holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland, where he was an NCAA Division I lacrosse athlete and a member of the 2012 National Championship team.
