CFOx partnered with a founder-owned commercial cleaning company and provided accounting records cleanup, system implementation, and internal personnel training.
Our Accounting and CFO Services team performed a historical cleanup of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the prior two years. The team then assessed the Chart of Accounts and implemented improvements to standardize account structure and improve transaction classification. Balance Sheet accounts were then reconciled to underlying bank and credit card activity. Reporting became timelier and more reliable, giving management better visibility into performance month over month.
Once the historical records were cleaned, CFOx developed supporting schedules and calculators for key Balance Sheet accounts and built a monthly Financial Reporting Package to provide consistent visibility into performance.
CFOx then trained the client’s internal bookkeeper on the newly established processes and reporting framework. After a smooth transition back to the internal team, the client was able to manage the accounting function in-house with standardized processes, reliable reporting, and greater confidence in its financial information.
