CFOx partnered with a founder owned garage door installation and services company supporting residential customers across Michigan. The business was in its early growth stage and needed financial leadership and a scalable accounting foundation to support continued expansion.
From the company’s inception, CFOx served as both fractional CFO and outsourced accounting function. Our team worked closely with the founder to design and implement core accounting and finance processes that provided visibility, structure, and control as the business grew.
The engagement included setting up accounting systems, establishing month-end close procedures, and performing a full inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting. CFOx also designed and executed day-to-day accounting processes to support ongoing operations.
CFOx remained engaged for approximately one year, overseeing the design, implementation, and execution of the accounting function. As the company matured, CFOx helped transition responsibilities internally, enabling the business to operate the accounting function independently while maintaining the processes and controls that had been put in place.
This approach allowed the founder to focus on running and growing the business while building a sustainable financial infrastructure to support long-term success.
