CFOx provided post-close transition and integration for a newly acquired PE-backed Revenue Cycle Management entity. Given the speed of the transaction, the company required immediate structure, financial visibility, and defined processes to operate effectively post-close.
Scope of Work
Following close, CFOx worked closely with management to implement a scalable finance function. Key activities included:
- Evaluating current accounting policies, procedures, and operations
- Assessing and refining the Chart of Accounts
- Streamlining invoicing processes and identifying automation opportunities
- Reconciling accounts receivable and improving cash collection visibility
CFOx also coordinated the preparation of the Opening Balance Sheet and implemented standardized accounting procedures to support accurate and timely reporting.
Post-Close Execution & Process Improvement
CFOx led the development of finance processes, including:
- Establishing a formal month-end close process and checklist
- Developing a monthly financial reporting package for management and investors
- Implementing budgeting, forecasting, and a 13-week cash flow model
In parallel, CFOx supported post-close integrations, creating a post-close integration roadmap, and evaluated process enhancements allowing for integration of additional add-ons using various platforms.
Ongoing Support
CFOx continued to work alongside management to support the post-close transition and providing interim finance leadership as requested.
